The Scholarship System and the Disadvantages it Presents to Students
The way that the scholarship system is set up in the United States has created a lot of disadvantages for students.
One of the main problems is that there are so many scholarships out there, it’s difficult to find which ones are worth applying for. Another problem is that many scholarships require different qualifications, such as GPA and extracurricular activities. This makes it difficult for students to apply for scholarships because they need to match specific qualifications.
The other major issue with the scholarship system is that it has created unfair competition between students. Students who have better grades and extracurricular activities will have an easier time finding scholarships than those who don’t have these things on their resumes.
